The fastest way is the online form. For lunch, dinner or the tasting menu, use the restaurant booking. For breakfast, coffee, dessert or a café visit, use the café booking.

Online bookings can be made no later than four hours before your planned visit. If you need a table at the last minute or cannot find a suitable time among the available slots, call 608 117 226 and we will try to find a solution.

Yes, if we have space, we will gladly seat you without a reservation. However, we recommend booking especially for weekend lunches, dinners, the tasting menu and larger groups. The Dům kultury (House of Culture) often hosts social events, so it tends to be busier.

The restaurant can serve groups of up to 60 people. For groups of more than 8, we may ask you to pre-select your meals so that service on the spot is faster and smoother.

You will find us in the Dům kultury (House of Culture) at Tovačovského 2828/22, Kroměříž. The nearest option is the paid car park on Vejvanovského street. At weekends you can also use the car park at the neighbouring polyclinic.

During larger events at the Dům kultury, please allow for busier parking.

The café is open Monday–Sunday 8.00–22.00. Breakfast is served Mon–Fri 8.00–10.00 and Sat–Sun 8.00–10.30. Wine & tapas daily 16.00–21.00.

The restaurant is open Mon–Fri 11.00–22.00 and Sat–Sun 10.30–22.00. The lunch menu and brunch are served Mon–Fri 11.00–15.00 and Sat–Sun 10.30–15.00. Dinner is served daily 16.00–21.00.

Yes. Both the café and the restaurant are wheelchair-accessible, and there is also an accessible toilet with a baby-changing table.

Yes, dogs are welcome in both the café and the restaurant. We only ask that they do not disturb other guests and stay by your table.

Yes. There is a bike rack in front of the restaurant, and a pram can be wheeled inside. There is also an accessible toilet with a baby-changing table.

We have highchairs. Depending on the kitchen’s options, we can arrange a smaller or half portion for children where possible. Just tell the staff.

Allergens are marked with numerical codes directly next to the dishes in the menu. The information is indicative — the composition may change during preparation. If you have a serious allergy, please tell the staff and we will verify everything with the kitchen.

At Earnest Kitchen we offer a six-course tasting menu for CZK 990. The wine pairing costs an additional CZK 450. The menu changes with the seasons.

Besides the regular tasting menu, we also host tasting evenings with guest chefs. These are announced in the News section.

We work with farmers and producers we know. Our meat comes from, among others, the Rampuše farm, Biofarma Rudimov or the Němec family. Eggs come from Mr Albert from Bařice, bread and pastries from the Kolář bakery in Kvasice, our coffee is roasted by Pražírna kávy Kroměříž, beer is brewed by Kroměřížský 1. selský pivovárek, and we select wines with Magnum Wines.

We also tap our own cold-hopped lager Earnest 12°. Desserts, cakes and sweet bars are made by our pastry chefs in our own patisserie.

By payment card, meal-voucher card, paper meal vouchers or cash.

Gift vouchers can be ordered online in values of CZK 500, 1,000, 1,500 or 2,000. You pay by card or bank transfer and the voucher arrives as a PDF by e-mail. If you want a printed voucher, we will prepare one on site.

The validity is six months from issue and we will gladly extend it on request. The voucher can be redeemed for anything from our offer — from breakfasts and desserts to evening menus and tasting evenings. The voucher is transferable but cannot be exchanged for cash and any unused balance is not refunded. Within 14 days of purchase you can withdraw from the order, provided the voucher has not been used yet.

We prepare cold and hot refreshments, full buffets, served menus and desserts from our pastry chefs — for celebrations, weddings, corporate events and larger social occasions.

You can pick up the refreshments yourself, we can deliver them, or we can arrange a complete service including tableware, drinks, staff and equipment. You can put together your order in the online calculator at catering.earnest.cz, a summary will arrive by e-mail and we will get in touch.

We deliver catering within roughly 50 km of Kroměříž — covering the Kroměříž region, Zlín, Otrokovice, Holešov, Přerov, Vyškov and Uherské Hradiště. If your event is further away, get in touch and we will work something out.

We have no minimum number of guests and we do not take deposits. The lead time depends on what you need. For larger events it is better to get in touch in advance, but we can also respond from one day to the next. Call 608 918 226 and we will arrange it.

We ran the Radniční restaurace & pivotéka in Kroměříž from 2010. In 2026 we moved to the Dům kultury (House of Culture), where Earnest operates today — a café, restaurant, its own patisserie and catering.

Earnest builds on the experience from Radniční, but it is not its relocated copy. It is a new project, new premises and a mostly new team. Just next door in the same building we also run the bowling beer bar Beer & Bowl.

The name Earnest refers to Oscar Wilde’s play The Importance of Being Earnest (known in Czech as Jak je důležité míti Filipa). In English, earnest means genuine or sincere — and that is exactly what we are about.
